This Saturday, November 5th, one of our favorite boutiques in San Francisco, Loved to Death, will be opening a fun group show in their back gallery paying homage to the creepiest and most fascinating of boards games, the Ouija. Whether the result of a subconscious ideomotor effect, or explanations more occult, the board serves as the source of inspiration for a wide range of believers, artists included. Curated by Hi-Fructose’s own JL Schnabel, ‘The Spirit Board Group Show’ enlists a great looking lineup of artists including Jennybird Alcantara, Kukula, Edith LeBeau, Jon Todd, Allyson Mellberg Taylor, Liza Corbett, Jeremy Hush, Caitlin Hackett and many, many more.
