Australian street art fans are in for a treat this month as UK street art leader D*Face just opened his first solo show down under at Melbourne’s Metro Gallery. As to be expected, the artist went on what appears to be a comprehensive street art campaign while in town, installing everything from his standard wheat pastes to large scale sculpture throughout the alleys and plazas in the city. For Aussies on the Eastern coast unable to make the show, check out the upcoming ‘Outpost Project’ happening this weekend on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island.
