We first came face to face with Dzine‘s custom built and blinged out cruisers last year at the Viva La Revolucion show in San Diego (seen here.) The artist/designer/painter/photographer’s take on ghetto culture and consumerism meld together perfectly in a stunning and over the top exhibit of sculpture and social commentary, now on view at the Gestalten Space in Berlin. We’ll be reviewing Dzine’s new book in our upcoming issue (see the full preview of Volume 21 here), but in the meantime, get a look at some works from the current show.
