A Dialog with Zoltron

Historically, the discussions regarding art, its worth and meaning have been relegated to the tomes, books and classrooms of art history. The dialog that often occurs in these matters is typically a matter of the intelligentsia, any any public forum is usually moderated and oftentimes censored. San Francisco based artist Zoltron has been documenting the reaction and replies his recent street work has been receiving and stimulating. What begins as a simple wheat paste soon encompasses a wide berth of varying opinion and critique and in doing so, alters and evolves the nature and meaning of the work.

Get a look at the transformative paths that his work has been taking in a step by step commentary provided by the artist, his supporters and redactors later this evening at 18 Reasons in San Francisco, or here on Hi-Fructose after the jump.
