The T&J Art Walk

Following the terror events in Norway on July 22nd, street artists from around the world are currently descending upon Oslo to create a series of city-wide murals in support of the Human Rights Watch, sponsored by the T&J Art Walk. Faile, Shepard Fairey and The London Police have already arrived, while D*Face, Logan Hicks, Will Barras, Fenx, Seen, Vitaly Rusakov, Martin Whatson, Gallo and Nicolay Aamodt are all on their way. Following the completion of all the murals, the event will culminate in an indoor exhibition and fundraiser. Get a look at the first three works here on Hi-Fructose.

Less than two years ago, New Mexico painter Anthony Hurd completely changed the subject matter depicted in his paintings, focusing on themes which related to the artist on a more personal level. While Hurd’s graphic paintings of dynamic skulls were quite popular, his painterly depictions of male figures having intimate moments are simple and powerful. See the full video here!
