Joao Ruas – Minion

Hi-Fructose received an advance copy of the new concept book, ‘Minion’ by Joao Ruas earlier today and not a moment to soon as we’re packing up the truck and getting ready to head down to south for the 2011 San Diego Comic Con. As publishers of our own fine art books it can be pretty tough to impress us, but ‘Minion’ does just that. A perfect replica of Ruas’ sketchbook, the bite sized serving provides a compelling look into the artist’s inspiration and technique and is highly recommended for fans of Ruas’ work and aspiring artists alike. We’d show you a preview of the pages, but you’ll have to take a look at them in person when the book debuts this weekend at SDCC via Eidolon Fine Arts.
