The Art of Bryan Schnelle

We first noticed the collage works of Bryan Schnelle last year at San Francisco's Gallery Three. His gritty urban-esque works were a far departure from what we're more commonly used to seeing in the medium and his pointed commentary on beauty and consumerism especially struck home. Since then, the artist has seemed to have expanded his color palate, the ominous black ski mask models now awash in a sea of colorful trippy geometric patterns. Schnelle's new body of work, the best we've seen from him yet, is now on view at Phone Booth Gallery in Long Beach. View some of our favorite selections from the show after the jump.
