Featuring the haunted gazes of similar faced willowy brunettes, artist Nom Kinnear King creates whimsical works, imbued with a subtle magical realism. Employing a wide range of color and pattern, the subjects often appear to fill up most of the composition, focusing the eye on their unexpected behaviors, whether it is containing a collection of nesting dolls inside a glass jar with a vice grip or playing unheard songs on a small concertina.
