The Art of New Bohemia Signs

San Francisco's New Bohemia Signs has been an artistic institution on the West Coast for almost two decades. Their hand painted signs cull from the depths of an ever growing obsolete craft, a resurgence in the concept of the importance of hand made goods. More artisans than anything else, the craftspeople at New Bohemia Signs join their own Jeff Canham and New York-based sign painter and graffiti artist Steve "Espo" Powers (last seen here) in an exhibition celebrating the trade, opening this Saturday, June 11th at Guerrero Gallery.
