ArtPadSF – Part One

With the SF International Fine Art Fair now over, Hi-Fructose is now kicking back into full gear following a long weekend of art, parties and general art fair debauchery. Following last year’s main fair at Fort Mason (see our coverage here), San Francisco stepped it up a notch with the introduction of two satellite fairs this year, ArtPadSF and ArtMrkt. Relegating more of the old guard galleries to the main fair, these two satellites provided the more new-contemporary and intriguing venues for this year’s attendees.

With a stellar lineup including many of our favorite SF based galleries such as White Walls, Guerrero Gallery, Park Life, 111 Minna, Ever Gold, Johansson Projects, SWARM, Anno Domini and Spoke Art, ArtPadSF kicked off to a great first year in the trendy Phoenix Hotel. Our review of ArtMrkt will be following tomorrow, but for today we’d like to begin the first part of our extensive ArtPadSF coverage.
