The Art of Megan Greene

New York based artist Megan Greene creates tender yet quietly odd workson paper, utilizing found images as foundations for her compositions. Theresults of this hybrid experimentation are smooth geometric shapes and aspectrum of illuminating color overlaid images of birds and people from apast era. Aside from drawing on top of these pre-existing images, outsidecollage such as snips of maps, and disembodied parts such as eyes, are incorporated, adding interesting layers and textures to the handdrawn shapes.
