The Art of Angie Wang

Illustratress Angie Wang certainlybrings pleasure to the mind and heart with each of her hypnotizingillustrations. When Angie was a youngster she created a mural on herwall with her own snot. This lead to a rather grand revelation: thatshe was, in fact, an artist. Over the years her methods have evolvedto digital materials and pencils, but she's yet to lose thosechildhood senses of bewilderment, mysticism, and experimentation asher pieces take on themes and juxtapositions ranging from the eerieto the surreal, the outcome is always beautiful. Angie lives andworks in Portland and you can catch her illustrations in the New YorkTimes and other well known publications all over. - Zach Tutor
