Filled with a graceful fluidity, Equador based artist Maureen Gubia creates emotive, watery portraits of everyday scenes, soaking each with a peculiar oddness. With a wide palette range, the work glows with a colorful brilliance, contrasting with the sometimes mutated and savage faces of the figures.
