It was 10 years ago that Buff Monster created his namesake signature character. Today, he is celebrating with news of a brand new mural and silkscreen print. Buff’s not-to-be-missed brand new hot pink mural is a collaboration with artist Else ICR, located in Hollywood, California. “It is probably the biggest and most labor-intensive wall that I’ve ever painted”, Buff shared with Hi-Fructose correspondent, Caro.
Also something to be proud of is Buff Monster’s 10th Anniversary print. Buff has always been a fan of silkscreening- he silkscreens his own posters to put up in the street, elements of his paintings, even the tshirts he wears. “10 Years” originated as a painting Buff created 10 years ago, inked, scanned, and printed back to life. Each color matches the custom-mixed colors that he uses in paintings. “10 Years” is 5 colors on 18×24” inch rag paper, signed and numbered out of 100, and is available now.
