Studio Visit with Henry Lewis

by Ken HarmanPosted on

Opening tomorrow, Saturday, March 19th, at Corey Helford Gallery is a dual showing by two modern masters of two very different, yet both seemingly Baroque-inspired, fields. Adam Wallacavage will be showing his decorative chandeliers with the Culver City gallery, alongside the masterly oil paintings of Henry Lewis, who’s studio we visited last weekend. Entitled “The Absence of Light”, Lewis’ latest has been a two year journey in the making, an epic and sprawling narrative of fantasy and myth wherein which new heroes and gods are born and battle. Get an extensive preview of Lewis’ new works as well as an exclusive peek into his studio, here on Hi-Fructose.
