Exploring the femininity and faint traces of horror within the symbology of fairytales, artist Liza Corbett creates delicately rendered scenes starring a cast of high haired heroines. The absence of male figures is curiously filled with romantic sentiments; blooming flowers, elegant gowns and long necked swans populate the fantastical world, while in contrast, skulls perch atop towering coifs and menacing wolves roam the woods.
