Derek Weisberg’s Auroral Dreaming

One of our favorite sculptors, Derek Weisberg, is now showing with one of our favorite galleries, Anno Domini in San Jose. For his second show with the esteemed space, Weisberg has not only created a physical manifestation of his imagination, but has expanded his sculptural vocabulary with the introduction of new multi-hued and rainbow-like extensions to his figures, seemingly also capturing the imagination and spirits of his own subjects. A couple weeks back we conducted a studio visit with Weisberg as he was preparing for the exhibition, get a look at the show fully installed after the jump.
