The vibrant paintings of Kelsey Brookes (who we recently saw here) are neon colored kaleidoscopes featuring beastly creatures and overlapping geometric shapes. The work is composed of a juxtaposition of mediums; spray paint and acrylic form a dynamic movement against blank white backgrounds. Within his new work, bold texts form cryptic messages hidden inside the myriad of colors and shapes.
