Italian born artist, Maurizio Anzeri takes vintage photos and transforms them by sewing intricate masks over the faces and bodies of the past, sometimes leaving only the eyes or mouth to be seen. By simple using thread he leaves one with the feeling that you are seeing a projection of the inner most selves of these nameless people. Hi-Fructose correspondent Sarah Erickson checks in.
