Beloved sons Mike Giant and Adam 5100 have dual solo shows now on view at San Francisco’s Guerrero Gallery. Giant’s pen and ink drawings of tattoo and bike culture have been a SF scene staple for many years and the artist’s expansion into collage and paintings on canvas only help further his reputation as one of the city’s greats. Showing in the project room is a compelling solo by SF based stencil artist Adam 5100. Adam’s intricate hand cut works are not only borderline unbelievable, but also are made even more special with their accompanying stencil layers, shown alongside the completed works.
