Mark Warren Jacques is Here Now

Also opening tonight just down the street from Guerrero Gallery is the latest installation/solo show by Portland's Mark Warren Jacques over at Gallery Hijinks. The young artist's work continues it's finely rendered evolution with a series of meticulous medium to smaller size works. Though the installation was in progress when Hi-Fructose dropped in earlier today, judging from the sounds and what we've seen this looks like it'll be another of Jacques' trademark immersive environments. Between Colman's show and Jacques' "I'm Here Now", San Francisco's Mission neighborhood certainly appears to be the place to be tonight.
