Aaron Noble
Opening tomorrow night (Saturday, September 11th 2010) at Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco is ‘Materialism’ a dual showing featuring artists Aaron Noble and Greg Lamarche. Incorporating collage elements from both comic books and graffiti respectively, ‘Materialism’ is an analysis of re-appropriation, consumerism and childhood nostalgia. Noble, whom we haven’t seen since Hi-Fructose Vol. 5, makes a triumphant return to the Bay Area with his precision cut collages and gouache renderings….
