Last Thursday, Aug. 26th, Alberta Street in Portland, OR closed off 15 blocks to traffic and opened up its doors to a debaucherous night of food, music, art and drunkeness. I was lucky enough to be up there visiting my family and catch an amazing show at Together Gallery. Jay Howell‘s I Understand and I Wish to Continue was again another reason why this guy is still around and making a name for himself. His unique style and humor will leave one gawking at the colorful characters and saturated hues while giggling to themselves about Party Steve’s drinking habits. Hannah Stouffer was also in attendance in the back room with some really beautiful ink and paper pieces.
