New father and painter extraordinaire NC Winters will be opening a solo show early September at Subtext Gallery in San Diego. Working via a relatively unique process that involves acrylic paintings on paper which are then mounted to wood and heavily resined, Winter’s gothic and entomologist aesthetic has captured our imaginations over at the HF offices for a while.
