Dan May x Jason Limon

by Ken HarmanPosted on

In preparation for the upcoming Dragon Con, HF-favorites Jason Limon and Dan May (HF Vol. 9) have collaborated on a painting. Entitled “In the Still of Uncertain Streams”, the painting involves not just two artists incoporating their own trademark styles on one canvas (or panel, in this case), but rather fusing their characters together into one seamless whole. Note the paws and tail of Limon’s creature and how they’ve been touched by May’s “furry magic” (Limon’s words!). View a picture of the work framed, as well as an initial sketch by Limon, here on Hi-Fructose.

Editor’s Note: HF-contributor Nathan Spoor recently interviewed Dan May on his last show at Gallery 1988, read it here!
