Hi-Fructose dropped by the SFMOMA last week for the new David Choe book signing. Recently published by Chronicle Books, the self titled monograph is a comprehensive compendium of the prolific works of Choe. Featuring everything from the artist’s childhood drawings, the work he made while in jail, his first hand accounts of the LA Riots, and even some hate mail he’s received over the years, David Choe serves less as a catalog of the artist’s work, but more as an intimate journey into his art and life.
