Breaking new ground in the art world is no easy feat. That being said, rock star curator Francesco LoCastro has never been one to let mere boundaries mandate the realms into which he brings his ambassadorship. The current exhibit in the Hamptons is just such an adventure. Art On The Edge – The New Contemporary, is now on exhibit through September at New York’s premier fine art establishment, Vered Gallery. Follow us for a look at the exhibit.
LoCastro has also penned us a nice intro to the exhibit:”Miami’s Art Basel week & East Hampton’s Summer months, which include art fairs such as Art Hamptons and SCOPE Hamptons, have always shared a similar if not identical collecting clientele. When discussing the possibility of an exhibition of New Contemprary works in the Hamptons with Vered’s gallery director Damien Roman, we instantly identified a need for establishing an ongoing cultural exchange between both vibrant art markets. Three years in the making, Vered Gallery has allowed us to bring about the first ever presentation of New Contemporary & Pop Surrealist Art in the Hamptons. Many thanks to Janet Lehr and Vered for their support in making this exhibition possible.”
