Jeff Soto’s The Seeker

The long-awaited 'Seeker' vinyl figure from Jeff Soto and BigshotToyworks is nearly finished! Hi-Fructose was sent this image of thefirst painted test pull from the mold, and everyone is incrediblypleased with how well these have turned out.  The samples will be ondisplay at Jeff's new solo show, opening tomorrow at the JonathanLevine Gallery in New York.  Stop in, check out Jeff's newest work, andget your first in-person look at this incredible new figure, which will have a full release in Winter 2010.  Hi-Fructose is also proud to announce that we'll be releasing our own exclusive colorway of the Seeker at Booth #4939 at SDCC in July, more info closer to SDCC.  Check out a prototype of the figure after the jump.

Illustrator-turned-fine artist Janice Sung’s figures seem at home amidst natural settings, whether in a lily pad pond or a garden, floating like a near-translucent milk specters. Her recent gallery showing at Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles, the first using physical media by the artist.
