Amanda Visell at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum

Amanda Visell opened her "Primeval Love" one-day show at the LA Natural History Museum last Saturday. Featuring a full band, new body of work, some sculpture and probably the only living thing on display in the whole building: a live model reenacting her Castle Armor painting; "Primeval Love" looks to have been an event of mammoth proportions, no surprise for the artist whose career has been on a meteoric rise (sorry for the puns, it was either that or we were going to use "dino-mite"!)
