Josh Keyes at Ok Ok Gallery

by Kirsten AndersonPosted on

Last night I dropped by the highly anticipated Josh Keyes exhibit at Seattle’s Ok Ok Gallery. In addition to the semi-large scale and technically refined paintings exploring enviromental concerns, the show featured a 3D installation of an albino deer covered in, and surrounded by, white butterflies. The effect was quite magical, without being corny, nor maudlin. Josh graciously spent the evening chatting with collectors, fans, and fellow artists who packed the gallery all evening. Needless to say the show was sold out before the doors opened! Anyone in the area should do themselves a favor and check out the show. Check out photos from the show and and more below.
