Favorites: Karen Davison

In anticipation of this year's Alternative Press Expo, I was looking through the few pieces I picked up from last year. My favorite is this little gem by artist Karen Davison who draws...or rather, wields a pencil like a pro fencer (as in fencing with pointy swords). Her line drawing portraits are more telling than actual photographs, each one exhuding the individual personality of the person in the picture. This is a limited edition (50), accordion style book, custom covered (with custom designed end papers!) and filled with 26 black and white prints.
