Kiss of Life:

Dan May (Atlanta, GA) brings forth an array of potent imagery from his explorations and documentations of a world somewhere parallel to our own. He wields his ability to transform thought into image with the knowledge of the struggle – the struggle to survive, to be relevant, and most importantly to live not only within ourselves but within a world that sometimes does not make sense. The seemingly playful creatures inhabiting his vibrantly tended palette appear to have the qualities of your typical monster, all the while maintaining a humanity that reflects our own wide range of emotions and imperfections. In essence, May’s beasties and evocative scenarios bring to the forefront of the mind the core conflicts of human nature. Gallery Web-preview

Nathan Spoor (Los Angeles, CA) delivers a visually rich playing field of intricate symbiosis. His works are created using the process of Suggestivism, wherein he appropriates images through a meditative state to gain view of the In Between (a “world” between the waking and sleep state). His intimate symbologies are interpreted as playful as well as cautionary, providing a view of an extremely inventive and innovative brand of research and creativity. Together, these two artists bring you an enigmatic and intricate series of works for your viewing pleasures. Gallery Web-preview

The Night Visit

Wonderland: Brandi Milne:
Brandi Milne’s work conjures feelings of being 7 years old again. In that state of mind, Brandi has created a circus show of the absurd. In this master land of ridiculousness within four walls, the viewer will be enchanted by their own imagination with images of large caterpillar magicians, Tin-man piñatas and selfish little puppet boys from Brandi’s “Series of Selfish Acts” paintings. The show also includes five dancing bears, one equestrian bunny and six new plush dolls that complete this “Wonderland” with their own tiny nightgowns, and matching drawings! This is a circus in the garden and everyone’s invited! Brandi is a self-taught artist who makes her own rules and is not confined by what is expected. She favors beauty and aesthetic over any message or propaganda. Gallery Web-preview
