Originally from Brazil, Mozart Guerra is a Paris-based artist who creates playful sculptures by weaving nylon thread over his life-like foam figures. Guerra takes advantage of the linear patterns of this chosen medium to cover his works with hypnotic spirals of contrasting colors. The highly textured pieces appeal to both the visual and tactile senses. In addition to his sculpture work, Guerra has a portfolio as a set designer for television, theater and cinema.
