British painter Tom Ormond deconstructs architectural structures in his work, playing with geometry to create edifices that appear to build back up again before the viewers’ eyes. Ormond opts of an icy blue color palette that makes his work look electrically charged. The blue surges through the beams of Ormond’s fantasy architecture, endowing the rooms (many of which have key-hole shaped doors) with a sense of mystery and secrecy.
