Preview: “Shades” Group Show at Corey Helford Gallery

Culver City's Corey Helford Gallery has a group show in the works that challenges its artists to explore a single color in a 16-inch-by-16-inch monochromatic painting. "Shades" features work from Chloe Early, Revok, Tom Bagshaw, Esao Andrews, David Stoupakis, Lola, Martin Wittfooth and other artists known for their liberal use of color. It's often said that constraints force one to be more creative, so we're curious to see the results of this color experiment. "Shades" opens July 27 and will be on view through August 7. Take a look at an early sneak peek of the show after the jump.
