Known for his prismatic painting style, Doze Green finds inspiration in Cubism, his Caribbean heritage and old school graffiti alike, fusing these rich visual cultures into an abstract amalgamation of color. A product of the early hip-hop era, Green was a founder of the well-known Rock Steady Crew and his influence extends beyond the art world. The artist is opening a solo show, “New Works,” at Openspace Gallery in Paris. The exhibition will be on view July 6 through July 31.
