On View: Other’s “Shallow Lake” at MOHS exhibit

Troy Lovegates aka Other recently traveled to Copenhagen for his solo show, "Shallow Lake" at MOHS exhibit. Painting collage-style portraits, Other fragments his subjects into cacophonies of Pop Art-inspired geometric forms and vivid colors. But underneath the kaleidoscopic shapes, Other's work depicts people that appear dejected and pushed out by society. Check out some of of the works in the show below and take a look at Other's new mural in Copenhagen, photos courtesy of Henrik Haven. "Shallow Lake" is on view through June 29.
