Preview: Greg “Craola” Simkins’ “Stop Haunting Me” at Merry Karnowsky Gallery

Working through a self-reflective process, Greg “Craola” Simkins presents a new body of work for his solo show, “Stop Haunting Me,” opening at Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles on April 6. Inspired by the “what-ifs” that plague the artist in his self-analysis, the show’s allegorical paintings of animals reflect on Craola’s fate and the life choices that set him on his course of becoming an artist when he first wrote the name “Craola” on a wall 20 years ago.
