Sam Flores Explores Good Versus Evil in “The Lion and the Lamb”

Sam Flores currently has an exhibition titled “The Lion and the Lamb” on view at San Francisco’s Fifty24SF Gallery. Using surreal, anthropomorphized animals to create allegorical narratives, Flores explores the dichotomy of good and evil. Different relationships with elements of power, fear, love and vulnerability are expressed through the lion and lamb characters, creating an ambiguity surrounding these creatures typically portrayed as nemesis.
