Using age-old craft techniques to put a new perspective on contemporary culture, Dutch artists Marcia Nolte, Stijn van der Vleuten and Bob Waardenburg are collectively known as WE MAKE CARPETS and they do just that. The three-artist team uses disposable found objects, such as bottles, corks, cocktail umbrellas and much more, to create striking, large-scale carpets in unexpected places. Their works breathe new life and beauty into these discarded materials. Take a look at some images of their work below.
