Meghan Howland’s Disillusioned Youths

Meghan Howland creates moody paintings with loose brush strokes, examining brooding youths through a hazy lens. Her disillusioned characters appear delicate yet unaware of their own beauty. The result is an emotionally poignant body of work that allows the viewer to fill in the blanks. Take a look at some of Meghan Howland's works after the jump.
