Preview: Kate MccGwire’s “LURE” at All Visual Arts

British sculptor Kate MccGwire (whose strangely life-like sculptures we featured in Vol. 21), will debut a solo show titled "LURE" at All Visual Arts in London. Constructed from natural feathers the artist painstakingly collects, the sculptures straddle the line between natural and artificial. Built on a large scale, MccGwire's feather constructions have a powerful presence, drawing us in close to investigate these impossible creatures. Take a look at some photos of MccGwire's latest sculptures by Tessa Angus after the jump.
