Painter Tiffany Bozic, whose new book, Drawn by Instinct, we featured in our current issue, has an upcoming solo show at New York’s Joshua Liner Gallery opening November 1. Deeply aware of the natural processes that govern all of life, Bozic created a new series of paintings of flora and fauna inspired by her newfound motherhood for “Transformation.” “From the shifting perspective of a new mom, I thought a lot about the planet into which I was bringing my daughter. Some of the paintings reflect the sacrifice and transformative changes of pregnancy,” said the artist. “I also tried to create an altruistic antidote for the gloomy-hearted in a kind of ecstatic fascination for the natural environment.” Take a look at a preview of some of the works in the show and make sure to catch “Transformation,” open November 1 to December 1.
