Scott Hove at Spoke Art Opening Night Photos

Last week, sculptor Scott Hove premiered a new body of work at Spoke Art's temporary Oakland location. A combination of sweet and sinister, Hove's sculptures seamlessly weave together candy colors, frosting and sharp teeth, hiding predatory elements within the delicious-looking cakes. Strangely life-like and surreal, the cake sculptures allow for many hidden details to be discovered. Take a look at some original photos from the opening night after the jump.
