Preview of Jonathan Way$hak’s “For the Forgotten”

by Nastia VoynovskayaPosted on

Tonight, Jonathan Way$hak (featured in Hi-Fructose Vol. 7) will open his solo show, “For the Forgotten,” at Oakland’s Zero Friends Gallery. Showcasing his love for the macabre, Way$hak’s new works transmit a sense of motion, like stills from a horror thriller or panels from a comic book. While his drawings brim with copious details and painstaking line work, his paintings’ rougher texture has a more expressive quality. Take a look at some of Way$hak’s latest works and some photos from his studio, images courtesy of Jonathan Way$hak and Ken Harman.
