Last night, San Francisco’s 111 Minna Gallery hosted an ArtPoint Artist Talk, a unique event the gallery has been doing every few months to allow the public to better get to know the personalities behind their current exhibitions. Visitors were able to take a sneak peek at the new four-person show “Lethal Injection” (which we previewed earlier) and hear from the artists themselves.
Moderator and CEO of the art-focused PR company Chillin’ Productions Irene Hernandez-Feiks asked the exhibiting artists artists and photography duo Ransom&Mitchell (whose portraits of the artists appear in the show) provocative questions that ranged from their personal views on the value of a formal art education to their opinions on gun control. Take a look at some photos from the talk and make sure to catch the opening reception tomorrow night.
