Alexandre Farto/VHILS – Visceral at MD Gallery Shanghai

Alexandre Farto who is also known as VHILS spent two months in Shanghai transforming walls in the city. VHILS is known for his monumental works around the world, this is however his first time in Asia. VHILS is featured in our latest issue Volume 23. His relief work of large scale portraiture on the walls of buildings is achieved by using unusual techniques, including chisels, acid-engraved metal, and laser-cut posters.
