Studio Visit with Charmaine Olivia

Hi-Fructose recently visited the San Francisco studio of artist Charmaine Olivia as the artist was preparing for her solo show this weekend at Shooting Gallery. A long-time HF favorite (read our recent interview with her here,) Olivia's long awaited debut solo has been highly anticipated by the Bay Area arts community, and for good reason. Entitled 'Ritual,' the shows themes of fantasy and the occult will be coming to life tomorrow night (Saturday, January 14th) with what looks to be a massive installation of altars and shrines. We'll be swinging by to check out the opening as well, but in the meantime get a look at Charmaine's studio, here on Hi-Fructose.
