The Art of Lacey Bryant

Bay Area based artist Lacey Bryant creates mystical paintings and sculpture, their subjects often alone in pastoral settings. Unifying themes of string and fabric weave throughout her works while the strong albeit occasionally broken female subjects confront the viewer head on with an air of cryptic mystery. Though a resident of San Jose, Bryant will be making her San Francisco solo debut with her new show, 'Soliloquies from the Silent Country' later this month (Saturday, January 21st) at Modern Eden Gallery in North Beach.
