The Art of Tasha Kusama

We first came across California based artist Tasha Kusama’sstunning work in the group show 'Lucid Dreams' showing this month. The complex, prismaticwork juxtaposes a wide spectrum of color, geometric shapes and odd femalefigures to an intriguing effect. Whether depicted with their hearts exposedover their bare chests or with bleached irises, the strange women share a ritualisticintimacy as they braid hair, hold hands or bedeck themselves with jewels andweaponry.
